Okay, all phones have an email adress through there service provider. So to send phones using an iPhone (until apple gets their shit together) replace the x's with the phone number of the person to receive the pictures. Put it into an email and copy and paste the pic to be sent. And just like a text message in a minute or two they should get your picture. I have tried this with verizon and it worked. Sprint came up as a picture message but the pic itself never appeared. I will update as I get more details.
